Overview

Machakhela Valley is a protected area near Batumi, with its waterfalls, rivers, stunning landscapes and local villages, it is the best place to enjoy a day outside Batumi. 

The tour starts with driving from Batumi to the village Mirveti, on the way, you will see the beautiful view of the confluence of the two rivers and will have a stop for photo shooting. Mirveti is a nice village where you can get familiar with local village life, try local honey and fruits, and see the medieval bridge of  King Tamar. This village is also known for one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Adjara. 

After taking the pictures at the waterfall of Mirveti, you will continue driving to Machakhela Valley, where you’ll visit the Machakhela gun monument before passing through the authentic villages of Machakhela Valley. After seeing another medieval bridge, you will have a stop at the local villagers’ family, where you will get familiar with the tradition of Georgian supra and have a delicious lunch with Georgian wine and chacha. The family folk show during the supra will give you even more emotions and unforgettable memories. Masterclass in Georgian dances and toasts will make you feel like a real Georgian.
