Overview


This is the best way to spend a day outside the city and enjoy hiking in nature. Located 50 km from Batumi, Machakhela National Park is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia. Here you will find mountains, rivers, a waterfall, and the ancient Colchis subtropical forests, which are rich with different varieties of plants, such as Pontic Rhododendron, Chestnuts, and many others. Hiking the trail in Machakhela NP is a little challenging, especially the first part, so it is better to have a little experience of hiking, but if you are new to this activity, it’s also fine because with our experienced hiking guides, your trip will be safe and interesting. The goal of the hike is to reach the top of the mountain to see the fairytale view. This trip is the perfect mixture of wilderness and authentic village life.

After the hike, you will have the possibility to visit one of the villages of Machakhela and have a delicious lunch with organic food.
