The Martvili Canyon, with Okatse Canyon and Kinchkha Falls, is one of the most beautiful and exotic places in Georgia. If you come here once, you will never forget the wild nature of Georgia and you will definitely want to come back again.

Nokalakevi is one of the oldest cities of Georgia and once was the capital and the administrative centre of the region. Greeks called it Archaeopolis. Here was found the ceramics from the Bronze Age, which indicates that Nokalakevi was the ancient Colch city. The settlement here existed in the XIII century B.C.  and probably it was the capital of the Kingdom of Colchis where the Argonauts arrived for the Golden Fleece.
